OSBI INVESTIGATING SUSPICIOUS DEATH IN LINCOLN COUNTY 
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LINCOLN COUNTY, Okla. (September 29, 2022) – The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) is investigating the death of a 35-year-old man early this morning in Lincoln County. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and Sac and Fox Nation Tribal Police responded to 335932 Oak Springs Dr., just outside Prague city limits. Upon arrival, they found the man dead from a gunshot wound and requested the OSBI.
Based on the initial investigation, Special Agents say there was a party at the residence where the subject lived. Subject and victim got into an altercation and the subject went to his bedroom. Victim followed subject into his room where the victim was shot. The subject immediately called 9-1-1 at 12:07 a.m., as did another witness at the residence. The subject is currently in investigative detention at the Lincoln County Jail.
The name of the victim is pending next of kin notification.
