1. Resisting Arrest (1218) 1200 Block of North San Joaquin Street, Civic District
The female victims, 53 and 54, reported that the suspect had threatened and assaulted both of them. Officers attempted to detain the suspect, who was combative with officers, and a Taser was utilized to take him into custody. ARRESTED: Cevel Alexander, 36, for terrorist threats, assault with a deadly weapon, battery, and resisting arrest.
 
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1915) Church Street and Harrison Street, Seaport District
The male victim, 49, approached the suspect who was attempting to light a mattress on fire. A fight began and the suspect armed himself with a weapon and struck the victim. Responding officers located the suspect in the area and arrested him without incident. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. ARRESTED: Oscar Mendoza, 43, for assault with a deadly weapon.
 
3. Robbery (1958) 4500 Block of Pershing Avenue, Lakeview District
The 17-year-old male victim was working at an area business when the suspect entered. The suspect stole cash from the register and assaulted the victim. The victim was uninjured.  SUSPECT: White male adult.
 
4. Robbery (2000) 4700 Block of Greensboro Way, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 48 had just arrived home when he was approached by the suspects. The suspects told him to get out of his vehicle then sprayed him with mace. The suspects then stole his property and fled on foot. The victim declined medical treatment. SUSPECTS: Three Asian male adults.
 
5. Robbery (0228) 4600 Block of Da Vinci Drive, Lakeview District
The male victims, 27 and 23, were working at an area business when the suspect entered the store. The suspect brandished a knife and took property. The victims were uninjured. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
 
6. Robbery (0418) 4600 Block of Da Vinci Drive, Lakeview District
Related to the Night Watch Commander’s Daily #5. The male victims, 27 and 23, were working at the call location when the suspect returned and entered the store again. The suspect brandished a knife and took more property. The victims were uninjured. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
