***UPDATE*** ROAD WAY NOW OPEN. Beginning at 5:00PM today, September 29, 2022, Grant Ave will be closed between 7th Street and Scott Court for the San Marin High School Homecoming Parade. Temporary road closures will occur to safely accommodate parade participants and the community.
Parade Route: Grant Ave, between 7th Street (Chase Bank) & Scott Court (Whole Foods).
Parade Scheduled Time: 6:00PM – 8:00PM
Grant Ave Road Closure: 5:00PM – 8:00PM
Intermittent road closures may take place when necessary for participant safety and will be immediately opened back up once the roadway is clear of parade participants. This will help alleviate traffic congestion, grid lock and keep traffic flow disruptions to a minimum.
The Novato Police Department will be working this event to reasonably accommodate any traffic related issues. Please use alternative routes when necessary. We request those who cannot avoid the area to allow plenty of time for travel. The community’s patience and understanding is greatly appreciated.
