Coastal Flood Advisory until 04:00PM 
* WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, up to one half foot of inundation above ground level expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents expected.
* WHERE...Atlantic Coastal Cape May County.
* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from 10 AM this morning to 4 PM EDT this afternoon. For the High Rip Current Risk, through this evening.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Minor coastal flooding is also expected with the high tides Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Moderate coastal flooding is possible During the Monday afternoon high tide. A prolonged period of an elevated rip current risk is expected into at least early next week.
* AFFECTED AREAS: ATLANTIC COASTAL CAPE MAY
Instructions:
If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
