Sheriff's Office transitions back to OPCON 3 resuming normal operations 
The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office has transitioned back to OPCON 3; normal operations.
As of 2 p.m. this afternoon, September 30, 2022, the Sheriff’s Office received nearly 40 storm-related calls for service. Those calls included downed power lines and downed trees or tree debris.
While Beaufort County was not significantly impacted by Hurricane Ian, it serves as a reminder to always be prepared. The Sheriff’s Office provides a variety of resources on our website at bcso.net, under the Storm Center tab.
