Watch Commander’s Night Report - October 1, 2022


1. Resisting Arrest (1301) 2200 Block of Cambria Drive, Park District
The female victim, 43, reported an assault and a restraining order violation. Officers contacted the suspect, who resisted and was taken to the ground. The suspect continued to struggle, and a taser was deployed to take him into custody. ARRESTED: Zavier Wilson, 34, for battery, violating a restraining order, and resisting arrest.  
2. Robbery Arrest (2019) 1400 Block of East Hammer Lane, Valley Oak District
The male victims, 25, 59, and 61, were at the listed location when the suspect brandished a firearm and threatened to kill them. The suspect demanded money from one of the victims and fled on foot. The suspect was arrested and had to be placed into a restraint device due to him kicking the patrol vehicle. ARRESTED: Ryan Daniels, 42, for robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, weapon charges, resisting arrest, and terrorist threats.                 

3. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2122) 4400 Block of La Cresta Way, Valley Oak District
Officers responded to the listed location on a report of shots fired. Officers located the male victim, 44, who stated that he was inside his vehicle when the suspect fired multiple gunshots toward him, striking his vehicle, but he was not injured. Multiple shell casings were located. 

4. Person Stabbed (2314) Kensington Way and Sonoma Avenue, Civic District
The male victim, 31, got a ride from the suspect, and they began to argue. The suspect dropped the victim off in the listed area and struck the victim in the arm with a sharp object. The victim received a laceration and was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury. The suspect fled in a sedan. SUSPECT: Black male adult.

5. Robbery (2330) Sierra Nevada Street and Fremont Street, Park District
The male victim, 21, was inside his vehicle at the listed location when the suspect got into the victim’s vehicle and demanded money. Another suspect arrived and hit the victim in the head with a metal object. The victim gave the suspects his property and fled in a sedan. SUSPECTS: Black male adult and a White female adult.
