* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of central New Jersey...and southern New Jersey... including the following counties...in central New Jersey... Monmouth. In southern New Jersey...Burlington and Ocean.
* WHEN...Until 315 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 917 AM EDT, rain was still falling across portions of the advised area. Minor flooding was ongoing. Generally, between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen the last 24 hours with a few amounts up to 6 inches. Higher than normal tides along the immediate coast and bayshore will further exacerbate the flooding by hampering drainage. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Toms River, Long Branch, Asbury Park, Lakewood, Barnegat, Tinton Falls, Beachwood, Manasquan, Point Pleasant Beach, Tuckerton, Seaside Heights, and Lakehurst. - This includes the following highways...
