CITY OF NORTH WILDWOOD COASTAL STORM ADVISORY – OCTOBER 3RD, 2022

The City of North Wildwood remains under a Coastal Flood Advisory for the next few days. Back bay flooding is expected to reach high-end moderate to low-end major levels.
Here is how the back bay tide schedule and cycle is predicted to set up through Wednesday with estimated water heights:
Monday 10/3
- 3:15pm – 7.8 feet (Upper-End Moderate Flooding)
Tuesday 10/4
- 3:57am – 6.5 feet (Minor Flooding)
- 4:28pm – 7.8 feet (Upper-End Moderate Flooding)
Wednesday 10/5
- 5:10am – 6.3 feet (Low-End Minor Flooding)
- 5:34pm – 7.0 feet (Low-End Moderate Flooding)
In order to prepare for the remaining high-tides, please continue to take precautionary measures, including moving low-lying vehicles to higher ground. If you notice that water has covered the street, please do not attempt to drive through.
If you need access to North Wildwood Boulevard to leave or return to the City for any reason and notice that Spruce Avenue (Route 147) is flooded, you may use Anglesea Drive as an alternate route.
The City of North Wildwood also remains under a wind advisory through this evening. Winds are predicted to be 20-30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. Please secure any objects that may be unsecure. This may result in some isolated power outages. If an outage does occur in your area, you may contact Atlantic City Electric at 1-800-833-7476 or report the outage online at https://www.atlanticcityelectric.com/.../default.aspx....
North Wildwood also remains under a High Surf Advisory. Our beaches are currently CLOSED to any fishing and surfing. Surf is expected to reach heights of up to 9 feet, along with dangerous rip currents expected through Wednesday, 10/5.
