* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of central New Jersey...and southern New Jersey... including the following counties...in central New Jersey... Monmouth. In southern New Jersey...Burlington and Ocean.
* WHEN...Until 915 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 319 PM EDT, rain was still falling across the advised area. Minor flooding was ongoing. Generally, between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen the last 24 hours with a few amounts up to 6 inches. Higher than normal tides along the immediate coast and bayshore will further exacerbate the flooding by hampering drainage. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Toms River, Long Branch, Asbury Park, Lakewood, Barnegat, Tinton Falls, Red Bank, Beachwood, Manasquan, Point Pleasant Beach, Tuckerton, and Seaside Heights. - This includes the following highways... Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 29 and 34. Garden State Parkway between mile markers 50 and 108. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
