Police Seek Public's Help Locating Missing Newark Man
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé requests the public’s help with locating Albert Smith, 49, of Newark who was reported missing today, October 3, 2022.
Smith was last seen yesterday, October 2, 2022 in the 200 block of South 6th Street. He was wearing a black hat, gray sweatshirt with a hood, beige and brown boots and gray pants. Described as 6’2” and 170 pounds, Smith has brown eyes, black hair and a dark brown complexion. He is known to frequent Estella Supermarket, located at 300 South Orange Avenue and High Hope Missionary Baptist Church at 135 Halstead Street.
Director Fragé urges anyone with information on Smith’s whereabouts to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
