Police Seek Help Locating Two Women Wanted for Questioning in Robbery

Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé requests the public’s help in locating the below-pictured two women wanted for questioning in connection with a robbery that occurred on Sunday, August 14, 2022.

At approximately 9:21 p.m., a male victim riding the No. 25 bus was followed off the bus at Springfield Avenue and South 12th Street by a group of males who assaulted him and robbed him of his cash and personal property. 

Detectives investigating this incident are seeking to question the two women depicted below. 

Director Fragé urges anyone with information about the identity of these two women to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
