Green Bay Police Investigate Attempted Armed Robbery at Mobil on University Avenue; Suspect Wanted

The Green Bay Police Department is searching for the suspect of an attempted armed robbery, who allegedly shot at a Mobil gas station store clerk during the late evening hours of Monday, October 3, 2022, while customers were inside. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
 
Green Bay Police were dispatched at approximately 9:16 p.m. to 1465 University Avenue, Green Bay, after a clerk had reported that a man had just come inside the convenience store minutes prior, demanded money, and fired a handgun.
 
The suspect who police are searching for is believed to be a White or Hispanic male and was seen on surveillance video wearing all black.
 
No cash or merchandise were reported stolen.
 
This investigation is ongoing, and no further information will be released at this time.
