OSBI ICAC TASK FORCE ARRESTS COMANCHE COUNTY MAN FOR POSSESSION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
COMANCHE COUNTY, Oklahoma (October 5, 2022) – Special Agents from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, with assistance from the Lawton Police Department, arrested Austin Teague (12/3/1999) on charges related to the possession of child pornography.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) forwarded a cyber tip to the Bureau earlier this year based on information received from an Electronic Service Provider (ESP). The ESP notified NCMEC that a user downloaded child pornography. The IP address reported to NCMEC was connected to a residence at 601 NE Flowermound in Lawton.
Yesterday, a search warrant was served at the home in Sherwood Village mobile home park. Based on the evidence collected during the search warrant, Teague was arrested and booked into the Comanche County Jail.
Teague is facing the following charges:
- Possession of Child Pornography
- Violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act
