10/02 - 8:39 p.m. - Police responded to an address on West Washington Street for a Domestic Battery, that was not in progress. Upon investigating, the male suspect was later located at another location and taken into custody. On October 4th the St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office - Domestic Violence Unit charged the defendant, Jimmy J. Henshaw age 38 of Millstadt, with Domestic Battery (Physical Contact); a Class A Misdemeanor, Category A Offense. His bond was set at $10,000. The Smithton Police Department responded to assist with this incident.
