Officers arrested a suspect in the 1900 block of Furhman after a lengthy foot chase. 
Officers from the Norton Shores Police, Muskegon Police and Roosevelt Park Police were in the area of Norton Ave and McCracken looking for a suspect involved with stealing a car from the City of Muskegon. The suspect was located and arrested near 1900 Furhman. Schools in the area were placed in a lock down with officers staged at each school. The schools have been notified and the lock downs were lifted.
