1. Carjacking Arrest (1250) 200 Block of West Poplar Street, Civic District
The male victim, 25, reported that he was robbed at gunpoint of his property and vehicle by two suspects. While waiting for officers, he located one of the suspects and confronted him. When officers arrived, the suspect was taken into custody. After the suspect was in custody, he attempted to flee and was subdued after a brief struggle. ARRESTED: Duray Carr, 28, for robbery, carjacking, and resisting arrest.
 
2. Battery on an Officer (1530) 1800 Block of North California Street, Civic District
Officers responded to an area hospital to assist security with a disruptive subject. During the incident, the suspect bit an officer. The suspect was taken to the ground and arrested. ARRESTED: Ana Irrizarry, 52, for battery on an officer, resisting arrest, and public intoxication.
 
3. Robbery Arrest (1604) 700 Block of West Hammer Lane, Bear Creek District
Officers responded to an area business on the report of a robbery. Officer contacted loss prevention employees who had fought with two suspects attempting to steal merchandise from the business. ARRESTED: Maurice Brownfield, 20, and a female juvenile for robbery.
