Whale Branch Middle School threat determined to be non-credible; students released 
A short time ago, a threat of violence was called into Whale Branch Middle School. The school was placed on lockdown while law enforcement investigated.
Through the investigation, it was determined that the call to the school originated from a person outside of our geographic area.
The school was searched by law enforcement as a precautionary measure.
The lockdown has since been lifted.
Sheriff’s deputies will remain at the school until all students are dismissed.
