Fairfield Police Kicking off Faith & Blue Weekend with Event on Friday, October 7 at 6pm in Front of City Hall
More than 65 million Americans attend weekly gatherings and services at over 350,000 faith-based organizations nationwide. Faith based organizations are a powerful gateway to the hearts and minds of local communities. There is shared, mutual interest in realizing effective police-community engagement.
Fairfield Police Department believes strong communities are built on mutual respect, trust, and understanding. Law enforcement entities and faith-based groups are both key pillars of a local community, and when we all work together, neighborhoods thrive.
When law enforcement professionals and community members relate as people with shared values, hopes, and aspirations, we can work together around our many commonalities instead of being divided by our differences.
That’s why we’re participating is National Faith & Blue Weekend (Faith & Blue) this Friday, October 7th through Monday, October 10th. Faith & Blue is the largest police-community outreach initiative in American history.
The community is invited to join us on 7 October at 6 pm in front of City Hall for our kickoff celebration in front of the PD as we celebrate #FaithandBlue in Fairfield, CA.
Together, we build #commUnity #TogetherWeAreFairfield #faithandblue
