Today, 10/8, Nostalgia Day events will occur in the downtown Novato area. A car cruise and show will impact traffic in the areas of Grant Ave between Virginia Ave and Reichert Ave.

• Saturday, October 8^th: Car Show (Grant Ave Road Closure)
  • On Saturday, 10/8, Grant Ave. will be closed to through traffic from Redwood Blvd. (near Redwood Credit Union) to Seventh St. (near Chase Bank).
  • Road Closure: Grant Ave (between Redwood Blvd. & Seventh St.) on Saturday 10/8 only
  • Closure Scheduled Times: 5:30AM – 6PM
  • Car Show Times: 10AM – 4PM
  • Event staff are expecting approximately 300 vehicles for the car show on Saturday. Barricades will be put in place by event staff and through traffic will be diverted starting at approximately 5:30AM on Saturday to prep for the event and remain in place until approximately 6PM. Grant Ave will open back up once the event is concluded.

The Novato Police Department will be working both events to reasonably accommodate any traffic related issues. Please use alternative routes when necessary. We request those who cannot avoid the area to allow plenty of time for travel. The community’s patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.
