Full Notification

This morning South River High School administration conducted a search of a student in the Principal’s office during homeroom, a foldable knife was found in possession of said student. The student was very cooperative and there was no immediate threat to any students or staff.  As a precaution the building was placed in a temporary shelter-in-place. The South River Police Department was immediately notified and responded to the investigation, allowing the shelter-in-place to be lifted and classes to resume as usual.
