School lockdowns have been lifted. The lockdown was a precautionary measure while we assisted Linden PD with an aggravated assault invest 
School lock downs were initiated a short time ago in a response to an Aggravated Assault that occurred in Linden with the suspects fleeing into Roselle.
Due to the serious nature of the incident and the proximity to the schools, the schools were placed into lockdown as a precaution. There was no specific or targeted threat to any of the schools or residents. The lockdowns have been lifted at this time.
