On Friday, October 7, 2022, at approximately 10:39 AM, Petaluma Police Department officers were dispatched to a report of a burglary occurring at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Petaluma. A store employee reported that two black male adults and one white female adult had entered the store, grabbed approximately $1500 worth of new football jerseys, and fled to a Silver Ford Expedition. At approximately 11:41 AM, Petaluma PD officers received information that the Dick’s Sporting Goods in Santa Rosa was burglarized by similar matching suspects and vehicle. Petaluma PD officers monitored each southbound on-ramp on US 101 looking for the vehicle to pass southbound. At 11:51 AM, officers observed the suspect vehicle southbound US 101 passing Old Redwood Highway. The suspect vehicle took the East Washington Street exit, and a felony vehicle stop was made. Officers took Jose Bello-Salinas, 24 years old from Vallejo, Venessa Burton, 34 years old from Fairfield, and Bryant Jacobs,39 years old from Vallejo into custody.
