Flood Advisory until 04:00PM Sunday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Anchorage Bowl.

* WHEN...Until 400 PM AKDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Periods of moderate to heavy rain today will cause creeks and streams in the Anchorage Bowl to rise. Smaller creeks and streams may reach bankfull. Minor flooding is possible along the Campbell Creek Trail and Chester Creek Trail.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 935 AM AKDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain in the advisory area. This will cause minor flooding from overflow of poor drainage areas. Between 0.3 and 0.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.3 to 0.5 inches are possible. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
