Female on PRCS Arrested for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Narcotics, and a Firearm

SUSPECT(S): Monique Garcia, 34-year-old female Resident of Bellflower
SUMMARY: On Sunday, October 9, 2022, at approximately 9:12 p.m., deputies received notification through an automated license plate reader that a stolen black Dodge Charger entered Chino Hills. Deputies learned the license plate from the stolen vehicle was affixed to a white Hyundai Tucson. The Hyundai was located at a gas station in the 14200 block of Chino Hills Parkway. Deputies observed a female, identified as Monique Garcia, walk away from the Hyundai. Garcia was contacted and found to be on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) for burglary and had an active no bail warrant. A search of Garcia revealed she was in possession of methamphetamine and a loaded firearm. The Hyundai Garcia drove was reported stolen earlier in the day from Anaheim. Garcia was booked into the West Valley Detention Center for felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm and narcotics, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a concealed firearm, and a felony no bail warrant.
