PC 594(B)(1): VANDALISM OF OVER $400.00
LOCATION: 10400 Block of Goss Road, Phelan
SUSPECT: Michael Barrett, 43 years-old, resident of Phelan
SUMMARY: On Monday, October 10, 2022, at 12:24 a.m., deputies responded to a disturbance report in the 10400 Block of Goss Road in Phelan. According to the caller, a family member, identified as Michael Barrett, was at the residence breaking objects.
When deputies arrived, they located Barrett inside the garage breaking objects and damaging vehicles. Barrett started screaming at deputies and then attempted to hide under one of the vehicles in the garage. While under the vehicle, deputies observed Barrett punching the under carriage of the truck.
When Barrett came out from under the truck, he immediately started assaulting deputies. After a short time, Barrett was taken into custody. Michael Barrett was booked at High Desert Detention Center for resisting an executive officer, threatening an officer, and vandalism over $400.00. He is currently being held in lieu of $50,000.00 bail.
