Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator in Training $2,622-$3,251/Monthly - DOQ GENERAL PURPOSE: Under direction of the general supervision of the WWTP Chief Plant Operator or his/her designee, performs a variety of routine functions involving the operation and maintenance of the Ctiy’s wastewater treatment and storm water systems; operates maintenance machinery and equipment; and performs other related duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent; AND one year maintenance or construction experience; OR and equivalent combination of education and experience. REQUIRED LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: • Must possess a valid CA Driver’s License. • Must obtain a California Grad I Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Certification within 18 months of hire.
