Prescription Drug Take Back Day at Simi Valley Police Department.

Simi Valley Police Department will be collaborating with the Drug Enforcement Administration to take back outdated, unused, and unwanted medications.

This event is scheduled for Saturday, October 29, 2022, starting at 10:00 AM and will end promptly at 2:00 PM.

This event will take place in the front parking lot of Simi Valley Police Department, 3901 Alamo Street, Simi Valley, CA.

Acceptable items to deposit: prescription medications and any over-the-counter pills, liquids, creams, pet medications, and nebulizer solutions as well as chemo drugs.

Items NOT to be deposited: intravenous solutions, IV bags, oxygen tanks, nebulizer machines, inhalers, thermometers and sharps.

How to prepare unwanted medications:
• Empty contents into a clear sealable bag. (Remove personal identification from pill bottles and recycle from home) 
• Leave liquids, gels or creams in their original containers and place them in a clear sealable bag.
