FEMA resources available to North Port residents affected by Hurricane Ian 
FEMA has made a number of free disaster assistance resources available to aid the residents of North Port impacted by Hurricane Ian. The fastest way to apply is through DisasterAssistance.gov. Impacted residents may also apply through the FEMA mobile app or by calling the FEMA Helpline at 1-800-621-3362 (TTY 800-462-7585). To apply in person, visit the Disaster Recovery Center at the Shannon Staub Public Library located at 4675 Career Lane, North Port. DRC hours are 9 a.m. through 6 p.m. every day.
