Two Janesville Police Officers took time away from family and jobs to aid in cleanup left behind from Hurricane Ian
Two Janesville Police Officers, Joseph Sanovich and Carmen Roche, took time away from their family and their jobs to aid in humanitarian efforts in Florida cleaning up the devastation left behind from Hurricane Ian. Officers Sanovich and Roche are members of Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA), a non-profit volunteer organization that among various other humanitarian efforts provides disaster relief aid. They were there for a week tarping roofs, cleaning out the insides of residences, cutting down trees, and handing out food.
The Janesville Police Department is thankful for the service Officer Roche and Officer Sanovich provide to our community, and proud of the humanitarian services they provide nationally!
