Temporary Road Closure & Detour Lake Street (Route 32) NEWBURGH, NY – Please be advised that due to ongoing construction activities related to the Lake Street (Route 32) Bridge Rehabilitation project, Lake Street (Route 32) will be closed to all vehicular traffic in the area between Lake Drive and South William Street starting at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 14th through 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 18th. Please follow detour signs and use alternate routes where possible. Drivers should allow for additional travel time due to delays. Please pay attention to traffic detour signs and construction vehicles in this area. All local businesses will be open and accessible during this temporary road closure and detour. The City of Newburgh appreciates the public’s patience during completion of this bridge rehabilitation project
