Update on search for missing and endangered Joe Nathan Glover 
The search for Joe Nathan Glover has ended.
Late yesterday, October 12, 2022, Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Aviation Support Unit discovered a deceased person in the marsh off of Lightsey Road in Dale while searching for Mr. Glover.
Beaufort County Coroner’s Office and the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office were assisted by Beaufort Marine Rescue Organization (MRO) in recovering the person from the marsh.
An autopsy was performed at the Beaufort County Coroner’s Office today, October 13, 2022. The deceased was confirmed to be Mr. Joe Nathan Glover, who has been missing for nearly a week.
The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Dale community and the resources that assisted in the search for Mr. Glover.
