On October 12, 2022, at approximately 7:20 pm, Deputies from the Moorpark Police Department Traffic Bureau and patrol deputies responded to a traffic collision involving a single vehicle and a pedestrian, in the 300 block of High Street.
The vehicle was traveling eastbound on High Street in the area of the Metrolink Station. While driving eastbound, the vehicle collided with a pedestrian walking northbound across High Street. The pedestrian suffered several injuries and was transported by emergency medical services to a nearby hospital for treatment. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and was cooperative with the investigation.
The collision is still under investigation by the Moorpark Police Department Traffic Bureau. Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact the Moorpark Police Department at (805) 532-2700.
