* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey and southeast New York, including the following counties, in northeast New Jersey, Bergen, Essex and Hudson. In southeast New York, Bronx, Kings (Brooklyn), New York (Manhattan), Queens, Richmond (Staten Island) and Westchester.
* WHEN...Until 715 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 522 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated moderate to heavy showers and embedded thunderstorms. Minor flooding is expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.1 and 0.2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.0 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
