Colony High School Shooting Suspect Arrested
Ontario, CA – The Ontario Police Department has arrested Lawrence Langston in connection with a shooting that occurred earlier this month at Colony High School.
On October 1, 2022, shortly after 10:45 AM, officers from the Ontario Police Department responded to Colony High School reference the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male with multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds. The male was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Based on investigative leads, it is believed Langston brandished a firearm and shot the victim several times in the school parking lot. Langston fled the scene prior to police arrival.
Langston, a 37-year-old male from Pasadena, was arrested yesterday in the City of Pasadena. He has been booked at the West Valley Detention Center on the charge of attempted murder. Investigators recovered two firearms while taking Langston into custody.
Neither Langston nor the victim have any connection with Colony High School or the City of Ontario.
