Watch Commander's Night Report - October 13, 2022

TOTAL CAD CALLS: 1070

1. Resisting Arrest (1322) 3200 Block of West Hammer Lane, Bear Creek District Officers responded to the area on the report of a subject attempting to start a fire. The suspect fled upon officers’ arrival and was taken into custody after a foot pursuit. During the arrest, a taser was deployed to subdue the suspect. ARRESTED: Jean Alwardini, 25, for resisting arrest and petty theft.

2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2030) 400 Block of South Wilson Way, Park District The male victims, 26 and 34, were standing outside their vehicle when they heard multiple gunshots. The victims were not injured, but their vehicle got struck by bullets. There is no suspect information.

3. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2053) 1500 Block of East Tenth Street, Park District The male victim, 41, was in a physical fight with the suspect. During the argument, the suspect struck the victim with a glass object and fled on foot. The victim received treatment at an area hospital for non-lifethreatening injuries. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.

4. Resisting Arrest (2200) March Lane and Montauban Avenue, Valley Oak District Officers contacted the suspect after he vandalized private property. The suspect resisted arrest, and an officer deployed his taser to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Michael Pruitt, 39, for resisting arrest and vandalism.

5. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2215) Mill Springs Drive and Stonewall Court, Lakeview District The male victim, 53, was assaulted by the suspects after an argument. One suspect struck the victim with a weapon before fleeing. The victim received medical treatment at an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECTS: Hispanic male adult and White male adult.

6. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2240) 800 Block of Dallas Avenue, Seaport District The male victims, 41 and 18, were outside of the call location when the suspect rode by on a bicycle and shot at them. Neither victim was injured. SUSPECT: Black male

7. Person Shot (0342) 400 Block of Jill Circle, Bear Creek District The male victim, 29, was walking home when he heard gunshots and felt pain to his foot. The victim received medical treatment at an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. There is no suspect information.
