1. Resisting Arrest (1650) 4900 Block of Pacific Avenue, Lakeview District The female victim, 30, was working at a local business when the suspect began to cause a disturbance and made threats against her. Arriving officers attempted to detain the suspect; however, she pulled away from them. Officers were able to take her into custody after a brief struggle. ARRESTED: Nsimba Fungula, 50, for terrorist threats and resisting arrest.

2. Pursuit Arrest (1927) March Lane and Brookside Road, Lakeview District Officers attempted to stop a vehicle for traffic violations. The vehicle failed to yield, leading officers on a short pursuit. The pursuit was terminated for safety reasons. Officers responded to the registered owner's home and located the vehicle and driver. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Naveed Awan, 18, for evading.

3. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2035) 2500 Block of Tiffany Street, Park District The male victim, 26, was stabbed by a family member during a physical fight. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Melvin Lee, 43, for assault with a deadly weapon.

4. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0000) Commerce Street and Flora Street, Civic District Three juvenile female victims were in the Martin Luther King Boulevard area when one of the victims saw a female with whom she had problems. Two male suspects began to follow the victims in a vehicle and rammed their car. The victims fled to the listed area, where the suspects rammed their vehicle again, causing the victims' vehicle to collide with a tree. SUSPECTS: Two Hispanic male adults.
