Today, the Borough began a project to expand the parking area servicing the Administration Building, the Public Safety Complex, and the Public Library. The project will create 41 new parking spaces, create a two-way travel lane between the Administration Building and the Public Safety Complex, improve storm water control, and upgrade the lighting and landscaping. The project is anticipated to be completed by January 1, 2023.
 
During construction, there will be no vehicle access from the Administration Building to the Public Safety complex, and there will no longer be a drive-up payment drop box. The existing dropbox was removed today, and tomorrow it will be placed in a temporary location in the Administration Building parking lot. The dropbox will be permanently installed in the parking lot when construction is complete.
