INCIDENT: PC 311.11 Possession/Distribution of Child Pornography
LOCATION: 1200 Block of Clubview Drive, Big Bear Lake
SUSPECT(S): Gideon Chance Burger, 25-year-old Resident of Big Bear Lake
SUMMARY: On Monday, October 10, 2022, detectives and deputies from the Big Bear Sheriff's Station served a search warrant at a residence in the 1200 block of Club View Drive, in the city of Big Bear Lake. The search warrant was the result of an ongoing investigation into the possession and distribution of child pornography, initiated through an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) cyber-tip.
During the service of the search warrant, additional evidence was obtained and Gideon Burger was arrested for possession and distribution of child pornography. Burger was booked into the Big Bear jail and has since been released from custody.
