2022 Shredding Event, Health Fair, & National DEA Drug Takeback on Saturday, October 29th at Burlington Township Municipal Building

Burlington Twp. residents may receive FREE services and information at the annual Health Fair and Shredding Event! The National DEA Prescription Drug Takeback will also be held at the same time. These events will be held at the Burlington Twp. Municipal Building at 851 Old York Road on Saturday, October 29th.  Please see below for services and times.

Shredding Event
The is a DRIVE-THRU service in the front parking lot of the municipal building from 10AM - 1PM   **EVENT MAY END PRIOR TO 1PM IF THE SHREDDING TRUCK REACHES CAPACITY**
*This is a FREE service.
*Do not exit your vehicle.
*Police officers will retrieve your papers for you.
*Refrain from using bags or boxes that you want to keep.

DEA National Drug Takeback Day
Don't be the dealer! Clean out your medicine cabinets and dispose of old medications to prevent addiction and substance abuse.

From 10 AM - 2 PM you can drop off medications at our Burlington Township collection site in the front parking lot of the municipal building (851 Old York Road). This will be held in a DRIVE-THRU style in conjunction with the shredding event. Police officers will be available to take possesion of your unwanted medications.

Acceptable forms of medication are tablets, pills, patches (pet medicine included), and vape products. Liquids and syringes cannot be accepted.

Health Fair
FREE Health Fair services will be available inside the municipal building between 10AM - 2PM. These include but are not limited to:

  • Flu Shots
  • COVID Vaccines (Insurance card required)
  • Blood Pressures
  • Blood Sugar Testing
  • Lung Screening
  • Hearing Testing
  • Skin Cancer Testing
