The Folsom Blues Breakout half marathon is Sunday, October 23, and will begin on Folsom Lake Crossing at 7:30 a.m. The course will follow Folsom Lake Crossing to the Jedediah Smith Memorial Trail and loop around Lake Natoma. The 5K portion of the race will cross over the Folsom Truss Bridge and proceed up Scott Street to Sutter Street. Both the 5k and the half marathon will finish in the Historic District near Reading Street and Sutter Street.
 
Folsom Lake Crossing from East Natoma Street to Folsom-Auburn Road, Riley Street from Leidesdorff Street to Natoma Street and Sutter Street from Riley Street to Reading Street will be closed from 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Detours will be clearly marked.
