Due to the upcoming Holiday, there will be changes in many Borough services. Please be advised of the following changes.
 
Garbage & Recycling – Due to the Holiday, there will be no garbage collection on Thursday November 24^th and Friday, November 25^th. All collections will resume on Monday, November 28^th. Please do not leave your garbage curbside during the long weekend.
 
Parking – Alternate Side of the Street Parking rules will be suspended on Thursday November 24^th and Friday, November 25^th. Overnight Parking rules will remain in effect.
 
Transportation – The Senior Bus and Medical Transport will be suspended on Thursday November 24^th and Friday, November 25^th. Services will resume on Monday, November 28^th. The Senior Bus will be operating on Tuesday and Thursday for food shopping ONLY. The Monday and Friday mall services are temporarily suspended until further notice.
 
Road Closures – There are no planned road closures at this time.
 
Borough Hall – The Borough Hall will be closed on Thursday November 24^th and Friday, November 25^th and will reopen Monday, November 28^th. Hours for Borough Hall are 8:30 to 4:30 Monday thru Friday, excluding holidays.  Those visiting Borough Hall will have their temperature checked upon entering the building and masks are optional but encouraged.  Employees interacting with visitors will follow current CDC guidelines for masking.
 
Municipal Court – Court sessions continue to be held virtually only, there are NO in person court sessions.  The court offices are open to assist those who have business with the court.  The office is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The office will be closed during court sessions in order to enable the staff the ability to assist those scheduled. However, the office will be closed on Thursday November 24^th and Friday, November 25^th in observance of the holiday and will reopen on Monday, November 28^th.
 
Library -- The William E. Dermody Free Public Library will be closed on Thursday November 24^th and Friday, November 25^th and will reopen on Saturday, November 26^th. Hours for the Library are 10am to 8pm, Monday through Thursday; 10 am to 5 pm on Fridays; and 10 am to 2 pm on Saturdays. Masks are optional.
 
Testing Center – The COVID-19 Testing Center and Vaccine Clinic at Sun are not affected by this holiday and will be open during regular hours on Saturday and Sunday.
