SUSPECT(S): Stephen Hodges, 47-year-old resident of Joshua Tree
Beau Teutsch, 37-year-old resident of Joshua Tree
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at about 3:30 a.m., deputies assigned to the Morongo Basin Station were conducting patrol in the 1100 block of Winfield Road in Joshua Tree. Deputies located a truck and trailer with two males loading property at an unoccupied residence.
During the investigation, Beau Teutsch was found to be in unlawful possession of a loaded concealed and unserialized Glock style handgun. Stephen Hodges was in possession of a loaded 12-gauge shotgun and methamphetamine. Both were arrested and booked at the Morongo Basin Jail.
Teutsch was booked for PC 25400 and PC 25850(a), and is being held in lieu of $25,000 bail. Hodges was booked for HS 11370.1(a), PC 25850(a), and a misdemeanor warrant.
