Flood Advisory until 06:00AM Thursday 
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Chilkat Valley in the Haines Borough.
* WHEN...Until 600 AM AKDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1248 PM AKDT, Satellite estimates and rain gauge data indicate heavy rain across the advisory area. Minor flooding is expected to begin Wednesday, especially near near the Chilkat River. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are possible. - Porcupine Road and areas around mile post 14 and 24 of the Haines Highway are the most likely places to experience minor flooding. - For Chilkat River at Klukwan: At 12:00pm the stage was 125.71 feet. Flood Stage is 128.0 feet. Forecast: A crest around 128.4 feet is expected Wednesday afternoon. Impacts: At 128.0 feet: Water will begin to flow over the driveway into the property of Chilkat River Adventures just upstream of the Chilkat River bridge. Additionally minor flooding may occur near 14 mile and 25 mile boat launches along with minor flooding of Porcupine Road.
