Update: Green Bay Police to Process Vehicle Sought in Shooting on City’s East Side as Evidence
The Green Bay Police Department confirms that the vehicle believed to be driven by a person of interest, who is possibly connected to a residential shooting, which resulted in the death of 5-year-old Skyé Bleu Evans-Cowley, has been located and will be processed as evidence.
We are still looking to locate and speak with Jordan J. Leavy-Carter, 35 years old, of Green Bay. Mr. Leavy-Carter is the person of interest, who was believed to have left the residence on Monday, October 17, 2022, driving a dark green Mercury Milan sedan with front-end damage and a license plate reading AHT-7886, which is the vehicle that has been found.
Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Amy Street on Monday at approximately 4:49 p.m. for a weapons call and report of a gunshot wound victim later identified as Skyé Bleu who was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
This investigation is ongoing, and no additional details will be released at this time.
