Grand Theft

1200 block Crescent Heights Blvd

10/11/2022 @ 2230-1100. An unknown suspect removed a tote bag containing clothing from the back seat of the unlocked vehicle. #06367

 

Residential Burglary (Suspect Arrested)

800 block Westbourne Drive

10/11/2022 @ 0400-0430. The suspect used an unlocked front door to gain entry and removed a cell phone, laptop computer, and credit cards from the interior. The suspect was arrested later that same day for an unrelated theft in Beverly Hills and the victim’s property was recovered. #06340

 

Vehicle Burglary

8400 block Sunset Blvd

10/11/2022 @ 2200-2230. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a backpack containing a laptop computer, AirPods, chargers, wallet, passport, and credit cards from the backseat. Loss $7K. #06354

900 block N San Vicente Blvd

10/12/2022 @ 0330-0430. An unknown suspect removed a suitcase that was placed outside the residence and left unattended by V1/FH. The suitcase contained a laptop computer, clothing, jewelry, and shoes. Loss $8500. #06362

8200 block Sunset Blvd

10/12/2022 @ 2230-0100. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a briefcase containing an IPad and charging cables. The briefcase was recovered. Loss $7K. #06385

10/14/2022 @ 1938-2020. Two men forced the front door open to gain access and removed a safe from the bedroom. #06413

 

Residential Burglary (Suspect Arrested)

1000 block N Fairfax Avenue

10/14/2022 @ 2342. A man used an unlocked front door to gain entry and was found inside the residence by the homeowner when he returned home. The suspect ran from the residence and fled the area on foot. No loss. The suspect was arrested by WHD patrol deputies on 10/16/2022. #06417

10/14/2022 @ 1738. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a laptop computer from the interior. #06411

8900 block Keith Avenue

10/15/2022 @ 1400. A man removed a wallet containing credit cards from the living room table after being invited into the residence by the victim. #06429

10/15/2022 @ 2000-2300. An unknown suspect smashed the third row passenger’s side window and removed a backpack from the back seat. #06435

10/16/2022 @ 0150-0155. A man was standing on the sidewalk in front of the club when the suspect removed a cell phone from the victim’s front pocket. #06448

 

Residential Burglary (Suspect Arrested)

1000 block N Fairfax Avenue

10/16/2022 @ 1153. A man climbed a metal pole to reach the rooftop and used an unlocked skylight to gain entry. The suspect removed keys and a Harley Davidson motorcycle. The suspect was located and arrested by responding deputies. #06443

 

Strong Arm Robbery

7700 block Norton Avenue

10/16/2022 @ 1245. The victim confronted the suspect in the parking lot of the apartment building and asked him to leave because the suspect had started a small fire. The victim began to record the suspect with his cell phone and a struggle ensued, during which the suspect pulled the victim’s cell phone from his hand and fled the area on foot. The phone was found a short distance away and recovered. #06442

10/16/2022 @ 1600-2100. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a leather backpack containing clothing and a watch from the back seat. The suspect also removed one pair of shoes from the rear floorboard. #06488
