10/03/2022 @ 2000-2230. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a backpack containing a tablet computer, clothing, cosmetics, and AirPods from the rear storage area. #06216

10/06/2022 @ 0045. The victim was walking in the crosswalk when the suspect approached and punched him one time on his face without provocation. The suspect then wrapped his arms around the victim, picked him up, and slammed him onto the pavement. The victim suffered a head injury and was transported to the hospital. #06243

10/07/2022 @ 0010. Two women were walking SB on Larrabee Street when two men approached them and pulled a handbag from the shoulder of one victim and demanded the second victim’s purse and she complied. #06267

10/07/2022 @ 2200-2205. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed a Dior handbag containing $1400 cash, makeup, perfumes, and three pairs of sunglasses from the front floorboard. #06261

Strong Arm Robbery (Suspect Arrested)
8900 block Sunset Blvd
10/08/2022 @ 2135. After stepping out of her parked vehicle, the victim was confronted by her ex-boyfriend and an argument ensued. The suspect used a hammer to smash the victim’s car windows and pulled three gold necklaces from the victim’s neck and drove off. The suspect returned a short time later and pulled the victim’s phone from her hand when he realized she was calling 911. The suspect was located and arrested by responding deputies. #06299

10/08/2022 @ 1616. An unknown suspect smashed the front and rear passenger’s side windows and removed a backpack from the interior. The backpack was recovered that evening after it was found on the sidewalk by a man walking his dog. #06295
