10/03/2022 @ 1730-0800. An unknown suspect entered an unsecured carport and removed a bicycle that was secured with a chain lock. #06257

600 block N Robertson Blvd

10/03/2022 @ 2000-2230. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a backpack containing a tablet computer, clothing, cosmetics, and AirPods from the rear storage area. #06216

10/04/2022 @ 0245. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed a backpack containing $700 cash, checks, toiletries, and house keys from the trunk. #06219

Aggravated Assault - Hands, Fist, Feet

Santa Monica Blvd / San Vicente Blvd

10/06/2022 @ 0045. The victim was walking in the crosswalk when the suspect approached and punched him one time on his face without provocation. The suspect then wrapped his arms around the victim, picked him up, and slammed him onto the pavement. The victim suffered a head injury and was transported to the hospital. #06243

10/06/2022 @ 2030-2230. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a backpack containing dental equipment from the trunk. #06263

10/06/2022 @ 2045-2158. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a leather bag containing a laptop computer from the back seat. The suspect also pried the glove box open and removed $5K in cash and house keys. #06264

Strong Arm Robbery

Larrabee Street / Santa Monica Blvd

10/07/2022 @ 0010. Two women were walking SB on Larrabee Street when two men approached them and pulled a handbag from the shoulder of one victim and demanded the second victim’s purse and she complied. #06267

8500 block Melrose Avenue

10/07/2022 @ 2200-2205. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed a Dior handbag containing $1400 cash, makeup, perfumes, and three pairs of sunglasses from the front floorboard. #06261

Strong Arm Robbery (Suspect Arrested)

8900 block Sunset Blvd

10/08/2022 @ 2135. After stepping out of her parked vehicle, the victim was confronted by her ex-boyfriend and an argument ensued. The suspect used a hammer to smash the victim’s car windows and pulled three gold necklaces from the victim’s neck and drove off. The suspect returned a short time later and pulled the victim’s phone from her hand when he realized she was calling 911. The suspect was located and arrested by responding deputies. #06299

10/08/2022 @ 1616. An unknown suspect smashed the front and rear passenger’s side windows and removed a backpack from the interior. The backpack was recovered that evening after it was found on the sidewalk by a man walking his dog. #06295

10/09/2022 @ 0134. A woman was hit on her lower leg by a vehicle driven by the suspect. The victim was not injured. The victim was banging on the suspect’s car windows when the incident occurred. #06304
