Hydrant Flushing - October 24-26 
The Department of Public Works, along with the St. Johnsbury Fire Department, will be flushing hydrants throughout town from Monday, October 24th through Wednesday, October 26th. The schedule is as follows:
Monday - Entire Area EAST and SOUTH of the Moose River and Passumpsic River.
Tuesday - Entire Area WEST of the Passumpsic River, along with everything SOUTH & WEST of Saint John St and Pleasant St.
Wednesday - Entire Area NORTH of the Passumpsic River on the Route 5 Corridor and Rocky Ridge to the Industrial Park.
Flushing hydrants have the remote possibility of causing discolored water. If you experience this, please let your water run until clear. If it doesn't clear up, please contact the Department of Public Works.
