Please let this advisory serve as notice that Cape May Fire Department along with our mutual aid partners will be conducting training in the 1200 Block of New York Ave.
The training is taking place in a nearby home that is scheduled for remodel/demolition. Through the help of the builder and property owner the Fire Department will be able to conduct invaluable training not available through other means.
During the time(s) of training you may experience higher than normal presence of emergency vehicles and personnel. You may also hear motors from some of our powered equipment.
We appreciate your patience as this training takes place and hope you can understand the value and quality of training as we prepare to assist those in need.
Please view from a safe distance and speak with staff in between training sessions to get a better understanding of what the members of your Fire Department train to do.
