A person of interest, who is believed to be connected to the shooting that resulted in the death of 5-year-old Skyé Bleu Evans-Cowley inside an east side residence on the 1600 block of Amy Street on Monday, October 17, 2022, has been taken into custody.
The Green Bay Police Department is interviewing Jordan J. Leavy-Carter, 35, of Green Bay, who was taken into custody on Friday, October 21, 2022, by the City of Beloit Police Department under the direction of the Green Bay Police Department.
We are not seeking any other persons of interest related to this case at this time, and we do not believe that there is any ongoing threat to the community.
No additional details will be released at this time as this remains an active investigation.
