DETAILS: On the above date and time a Serious Motor Vehicle Crash was reported to the Communications Center. The Communications Center dispatched patrol and traffic units to Old Trenton Road and Colt Circle for a motor vehicle crash with multiple injuries. Upon arrival both vehicles had sustained heavy front end damage. The passenger of a 2015 Ram Promaster van had been injured and entrapped inside. West Windsor Fire and Emergency Services were on scene tending to them and extricated the passenger. The driver of a 2008 Ford F-250 was outside of his vehicle with injuries to various locations. D1 and P03 were transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, Fuld Campus and D2 was transported to Robert Wood Johnson, Hamilton.
It was determined that V01 crossed the center line into the on-coming lane and crashed head-on into V02. D1 was found to be impaired and charged with Driving Under the Influence (DWI) and two (2) counts of Vehicular Assault.
